A most prized sentimental object. The sea fan my father sent to me in Virginia in the 5th grade when he lived in Florida Keys. Light hitting it through my living room windows casting a shadow upon the wall on this Sunday afternoon. This color, its delicate strength, the way it looks like a hand, or our circulatory system, a tree reaching towards the sun…I've pondered upon it for years.
