Off tracks at Andrea Crews

Dear Diane and Shaded viewers,

On the occasion of its Autumn/Winter 17 collection, the ethical brand invites us to follow byways.

For six seasons, the artistic collective created by Maroussia Rebecq leads to thinking about fashion in other angles by putting forward collections developped in an ethical way using eco-friendly scrap fabrics. Once again the whole process is 100% made in France. The fashion house collaborated with students from the prestigious Duperré school to create the wool jumpers, and Recode, the famous ready-to-wear Korean brand , took part in the creative process.

Traditional Bavarian lederhose are now associated to black bombers jackets, alpine flowers embroidered on asymetric oversized wool crop-tops and ski jumpsuits are mixed with denim and synthetic fur. Andrea Crews brings the urban soul to the remoted nature sanctuary. All is hybrid, technology and futurism melt into traditions and customs. Always on an activist background, every unique piece has a message to convey, the new generation cares for the planet and Andrea Crews’ work is the very evidence that fashion can keep on flourishing while being eco-conscious.

A bientôt,
