Dear Diane and Shaded Viewers,
Henrik Vibskov has achieved ataraxia. In a surreal vision of the human instinct confronted to its fauna and harsh weather conditions, the artist has created a peaceful collection which can face all extreme situations. Curved lines are built into the cuts of key styles, building shape in trousers and defining a new silhouette. Bold contrasting circles are inserted into oversized bomber jackets and appear as curved color lines on knitwear. Details of a colour or of a pocket make garments unique and very adaptable to all environments. As if shades of black and white were redrawing shadow of rocks or clouds in the sky, clothes are full-life paintings which espouse bodies like second skins. The search of Henrik Vibskov for spiritual tranquility and physical perfection is accomplished.
