Dear Diane and Shaded Viewers,
time stopped. Under a summer sky in the heart of Paris, through the monumental surrounds of the Place Daniel Buren, Etudes Studios has unveiled a timeless collection. Inspired by Swiss artist David Weiss, and his work of 'order-destruction', garments are recreating identities from the past and present. Tissues are raw, soft, plain or unstructured when colours are bright, uncluttered and blazing. Each textile evolves the mix of crisp and crumpled textures, which imbue the spacious silhouette with an attitude of lived-in elegance. Etudes Studios has re-imagined a universe where the opposite forces meet and live in harmony.
