The whimsical Rodebjer Fall Winter 2015 collection draws inspiration from both The Orisha Drawings by Alberto Del Pozo and the psychedelic paintings of Mati Klarwien. Both sources observe the mystery of creation and celebrate the modern woman – a powerful but restless spirit with the forces of nature at her disposal.
The collection juxtaposes 70’s bohemian materials like silk devoré velvet and alpaca, with modern, wearable knits. Parachute nylon jackets contribute to a futuristic vibe, accentuated by celestial accessories – see the moon details on the models’ foreheads.
Referencing the four elements of earth, water, wind and fire, the overall effect is one of graceful fluidity across both space and time.
