Swedish designer Lars Nilsson is a devoted collector among other things, he collects hats. He has bilt up a remarkable collection of accessories, clothing, textiles, documents and phernali. Lars is based in Paris since 1985. He spent the first half of his career working in couture houses like Christian Lacroix, Dior and Chanel. Many of the hats featured at the Hallwyl Museum in his native Stockholm date from that period. These hand crafted pieces are labors of love and a pure expression of whimsical beauty. In addition to the hats, the exhibition also includes photographs by Carl Bengtsson and a small number of other accessories.
