FASHIONPHILOSOPHY FASHION WEEK POLAND FW 15/16 – DAWID TOMASZEWSKI – PHOTOS BY MIKE PASARELLA

Dear Shaded Viewers,

With a retrospective show held during the last edition of Fashion Week Poland, Dawid Tomaszewski made his skills obvious as a gifted tailor, refined technician and talented designer, charming the audience with the subtle glamour of his clothes. Hovering between romanticism and sophistication, his best pieces tended towards the seductive and the mysterious, from full-length, fluid dresses and cute sleeveless shifts to draped separates and revealing crochet numbers. Tomaszewski loves eveningwear and he has done it since the beginning, crafting his own niche within a competitive segment. He is, in fact, one of the only Polish designers who seems truly comfortable with dramatic dresses, not shying away from embellishment and color. From flirty frocks to languid gowns, there was plenty to covet in his beautiful show.

Best,

Philippe
