theme of this issue is Authenticity, and in her thoughtful piece
“That’s Not Me” Laura examines the search for identity, and how we
treat ourselves and each other in the process. Discussing aspects of
her own life — before, during, and after JT LeRoy — Laura deals
frankly with questions of identity, body image, gender, and fashion.
