A visit to the two month old Grand Cafe Tortoni in le Marais

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Grand Cafe Tortoni is the second Parisian outpost for L’Officine Universelle Buly – the three-year old luxury cosmetics company founded by French entrepreneur Ramdane Touhami and his wife Victoire de Taillac-Touhami. The location was where  Auguste Rodin’s “The Thinker” was cast. Now you can go there do a little shopping and have a cafe, tea or excellent hot chocolate and sweets.

If you’ve stayed at le Crillon you might have already tried the range of Buly amenities. In addition to Grand Cafe Tortoni in le Marais, Mr. Touhami is planning to roll out branches in China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan and to open more boutiques worldwide over the next year.

When you walk through the courtyard there is a little showroom which will present a different designer outside of fashion weeks.

Later,

Diane
