A new London-based political consultancy: ‘Fashion Roundtable’ by Tamara Cincik

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Here is some exciting news I wanted to pass on to you.

Tamara Cincik, a fashion stylist for over 10 years, has launched a new London-based political consultancy: ‘Fashion Roundtable’. The consultancy will specialise in providing political representation and access to fashion brands and businesses in one of the most uncertain periods in British political history.

Uniquely for a fashion insider, Tamara combined her career, with her appointment as a Parliamentary researcher over a year ago in Westminster. It became very clear to Tamara, that Fashion needed a strong voice, now more than ever in the U.K. Parliament. As the specifics of Britain’s departure from the European Union were being decided, little time was being given to fashion concerns and there was a clear lack of political engagement with the sector. She knew this had to change.

Fashion Roundtable will launch after Paris Fashion Week, with the publishing of the consultancy’s first report: ‘Is the Single Market the only option for Fashion?’. The report will be the first in a series, published and available to businesses for free, throughout the year.

Tamara Cincik, Managing Director of Fashion Roundtable said this:

“I spent over a decade as an integrated member of the international fashion industry and as the results of the Brexit vote were announced, I recognised the damage Brexit could do to our global industry and our community. I created Fashion Roundtable to play my part in supporting the continued growth and success of the entire worldwide fashion supply chain in this challenging time.

“Here at Fashion Roundtable we offer our clients Parliamentary and Governmental access, support with campaigns and political intelligence, to ensure they can navigate Brexit and beyond effectively and secure the long-term prosperity of their business and our industry.

“Whilst our consultancy is designed to assist businesses with political intelligence and public affairs work, we also believe in supporting the fashion community as a whole. That is why we are offering pro-bono political representation to five UK small fashion businesses, that represent the diversity and brilliance of UK fashion in the global market.

“We have one chance to get Brexit right for UK and European fashion and I believe Fashion Roundtable has an important role to play in that process.”
