Dear Shaded Viewers,

Today I watched Starlite by Sean Baker and have had fun searching for different video interviews with Baker.

I think you might enjoy this. It’s several feature films back in his archives but timeless. One interesting point is that the first thing he thinks about is the impact on the audience of the last scene. How is the audience going to leave the film after the credits roll. At this point he had made 5 feature films.

The Florida Project was made on 35 mm. It was a sensation at Cannes this year.

As an aside Sean Baker was the Grand Prize winner of ASVOFF 9 with Snowbird made for Kenzo.
