Imagine a serene version of the Shining…Tobias Putrih is an artist born in Kranj, Slovenia in 1972. Putrih examines an elusive nature of designing and building functional as well as abstract objects and spaces. He questions the process of designing and making things that are sometimes intentionally fragile, interchangeable and dissolving structures undermining utility as the essence of their existence. Following architecture and product design his works are mostly described as models, prototypes and mockups, things stuck in the process of constant reconstruction. To lose yourself in this transparent maze was nothing short of serene.
