Demna Gvasalia Vetements and Balenciaga’s designer back when he was a student graduating from the Royal Academy of Antwerp in 2006

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Thanks to Rebecca Voight for unearthing my old blog posts on Demna Gvasalia aka Vetements and Balenciaga when he was a 4th year student and I was on his jury at the Royal Academy of Antwerp, of course he was my favorite and of course he got first prize. Y/Project's Glenn Martens was modeling for him.

It is interesting to note that in the same year, 2006, Anthony Vaccarello won first prize at the festival d'hyeres and now Demna is at Balenciaga and Anthony at Saint Laurent.
