Sylvie Bonnot – Drawings of Gelatine at the YIA Art Fair – S

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Today was the last day of the YIA Art Fair in Paris. These images caught my eye and lucky or me the artist Sylvie Bonnot happened to be in her booth. Sylvie loves very severe temperatures and likes to take pictures of places where most likely we would never go. She is atracted to snow and ice and storms. The process she employs to create her art  is called "the mue" (slought). The way it works is she  takes out the skin of the photographic paper (gelatin) and then she fixes it on other supports such as canvas, wood or paper.

Later,

Diane
