a.KNACKFUSS SPRING SUMMER 2016 – TEXT BY PHILIPPE POURHASHEMI

Dear Shaded Viewers,

For her second outing during Paris Fashion Week, Brussels-based designer Alice Knackfuss offered a strong and alluring proposal, focusing on fresh and stylish clothes with a youthful, sportswear edge. Entitled "Human Colonies", the collection mixed futuristic styles and folkloric effects, with an emphasis on color and contrast. Knackfuss' use of patchwork was appealing, as well as her exclusive prints, which she has been developing for several seasons. The designer's accessories were also desirable, ranging from origami-inspired sandals and colored socks to transparent caps and intricate rucksacks.

Best,

Philippe
