Micol Ragni is a young Italian designer that showed her autumn winter 15/16 collection at VOID showroom. Her complex patterns and cuts prove that she has experimented with different techniques to make her collection as interesting as possible. ‘Platonic’ is the theme and inspiration for the autumn winter collection. The 16th century drawings and volumes of Platonic Solids by Wenzel Jamnitzer, created an inspirational wave through the designs. Black, grey, silver and white, coherently filled the collection. The physical presence of the garments had a mix of luxurious viscose, synthetic fabric, neopreens and rubber coated jersey. The merge between the material use and complex cuts, makes an impactful collection for Micol Ragni.
