And a visit to Jeff Koons at the Pompidou.

Hi again… I thought I'd make a double post on McCarthy and Koons mixing each other's images to talk about the opposite sides of Pop Art that these artist represent, but finally I decided I wouldn't "pollute" the integrity of McCarthy with Koons' kitsch.

They're like Ying and Yang and not just apparently. Koons expo, as his work, is comforting but only superficially. There's something dark about his whole work while McCarthy's brutal honesty I find it pure.

This exhibition is ok if you want to see his historical pieces for real, but I could only be curious about the complexity of his recent works regarding their construction -perhaps to justify the astronomical prices of ordinary things-.

Best,

M.
