No word on who is producing, what the plans are for a production start date on Chronic, but we’ll have our eyes peeled for the latest.
Gist: This tracks a depressed nurse practitioner who assists terminally ill patients and tries to reconnect with the family he abandoned. Tulloch will play Lidia, whose father John will be played by Pulitzer-winning playwright Michael Cristofer. David Dastmalchian is also in talks.
Worth Noting: As the trade mentioned, there is a linkage of sorts between the filmmaker and his lead actor: Roth was among the Cannes jury that awarded the Un Certain Regard top prize for 2012′s After Lucia.
