SEOUL FASHION WEEK SS/15 – LIE SANG BONG – TEXT BY PHILIPPE POURHASHEMI

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Inspired by rare butterflies and streamlined shapes, Lie Sang Bong presented an alluring collection during Seoul Fashion Week, focusing on sharp tailoring and simple lines. His pantsuits were elegant and strong, while he kept the drama for eveningwear, using weightless chiffon and baroque accents. Butterflies popped-up on a man's t-shirt or a cropped bodice worn over a roomy shirtdress. The Korean designer embellished minimal pieces with lace, adding a touch of sensual femininity to menswear-inspired suiting. This collection will, without a doubt, keep his many fans happy.

Best,

Philippe
