Dear Shaded Viewers,
Just back from my whirlwind trip to Mexico City. Here are a few snapshots of the amazing 3 day adventure. I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am and how much I am looking forward to the ASVOFF Mexico City edition. This will be the first time that we have dedicated the short fashion film competition to one nationality, where ever they live… I can feel the excitement in the air and I've also heard a few of the proposals. Deadline is September 3. There was so much packed into the past 3 days that this is just a little glance at what went down. Jason Last is a real star, flight problems had him arriving at 22h night of the 15th and leaving at 5h on the 16th and he still managed to smile. That is a real jetsetter, in Mexico City only for 5 hours to share a wonderful dinner with new friends.
Looking forward to November and of course tomorrow night when ASVOFF goes to Cannes.
