Dear Shaded Viewers,
This show took me back to the days when Issey was designing and presented an inspiring performance along with an innovative collection. Yoshiyuki Miyamae put the fashion crowd into his dream world where innovation and sublime serenity ruled. The exercise this season was hand pleating on a curve and the result was like a meditation. To carry out the message 21 year old musicians, guitarist Ei Wada and vocalist Chiyako, supplied the soundtrack which was as emotional and poetic as the clothes.
