Fellini Spirits of the Dead

In 1976 Piero Tosi, the great costume designer, realized dresses for the “Toby Dammit” fashion show directed by Federico Fellini in “Three steps in delirium”.
The unfettered and visionary cinema anticipated fashion in using astronautical clothes, plast
ic materials and paillettes as instruments to design the space fashion at the end of the ’60.
Piero Tosi was a genius and with the help of the skilled Annamode fashion house, owned by the Allegri sisters, was able to create such a great fashion show that Fellini had to stand up and say out loud: “Magnificent!”
The Allegri sisters experimented different sewing methods and were able to sew plastic materials with paper inside. Clara Tosi Pamphili
