Dear Shaded Viewers and Diane,
As seems now on its way to become a tradition, and what a pleasant one at that, the comfy, plush screening room at The Hospital Club in London hosted this season yet again the latest creations in shirting wonders, by Levi Palmer (above) and Matthew Harding. For winter 2014, palmer//harding took an uptight, traditional shirt and gently stripped it of its presumed formality, to tempt it with the ease and the charm, the effortless appeal of a casual t-shirt. An ampler, looser selection featuring trousers as well as the season's must-have biker jacket embraced soft jerseys and brushed cottons, taking deep, refreshing breaths of chartreuse and teal among the more classical greys and blacks and crisp paper whites. A short dance film, starring and choreographed by model Anders Hayward, played on loop on the big screen: a celebration of youth and freedom of movement, beautifully shot by Cecilie Harris.
