My New Year’s message to my cherished Shaded Viewers

Dear Shaded Viewers,

It is the time of the year for reflection , if I forced myself to choose only a very few of this year's highlights, they would be…my beautiful birthday with friends in October,  Emmanuel Asmar accepting to be the President of the ASVOFF Association. Thanks to my  friends Marc Audibet and Marco de Rivera I met my President a few years ago. I am thankful for  the wonderful ASVOFF team,  Centre Pompidou giving us the big screening room for ASVOFF 6 and thanks to George Inaki we had Zoom Project working their Tokyo magic and last year I met Loredana di Porcia e Brugnera through George and Dom Perignon sponsored the most enchanting VIP dinner in Tokyo and big thanks to Akiko Hamaoka for her huge support of ASVOFF Tokyo over the past 5 years. 2014 is off to a sparkling start too with our man in Italy, Federico Poletti organizing Bvlgari and Alta Roma's invitation to ASVOFF in Rome, January 24 – 26th. A few months later ASVOFF will go to NYC at the invitation of FIAF and someone that knows me from the first dress I ever designed, way back in my past…Christine de Lassus, brought ASVOFF and FIAF together and I'm really looking forward to that too. Thanks to Cristiano Seganfreddo for introducing me to Celso Fadelli and  the perfume journey that we are experiencing right now. 2014 will see the launch of 4  fragrances by yours truly. We've been working on the first one for a little over a year now, the second is almost there and the other two are on route. I can hardly wait to present them to you.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all of my contributors, my Shaded Viewers, Silva Silva, Hendrik Schneider for A Shaded View on Fashion's new face and yes, we will sort out the newsletter in the new year.

Take care of our planet, save the koala and a beautiful future to all of you,

Diane
