A tasting at The Caviar des Pyrenees was held in a small grocery store with 10 years of history in Paris. It was decorated like a farm house, and all of the products were local.
They asked me to taste the caviar ( I must admit that I'd never tasted cavier before). They put the caviar on the back of my hand so that the cavier would warm to the temperature of my hand and diffuse its fragrance. It was a very gentle taste and I appreciated the way they treated and ate the cavier.
