SHORT FILM SYNOPSIS:
Based on research from my ongoing residency at Frankfurts Weltkuren Museum, "Blood Rites" is a video piece that explores the connections between Amazonian and Papua New Guinea male initiation rituals, and UK teen experiences and rites.

Cassette Playa has chosen to show digitally for 8 of their 12 seasons using film, animation, sound, augmented reality and interactive digital installations to push the boundaries of Fashion presentation.
2007 Carri was nominated for Best Menswear Designer at the British Fashion Awards alongside Christopher Bailey and Alexander McQueen. 2008 Cassette Playa was awarded Best Fashion Designer in Rolling Stone's Best of Rock issue. Designer Carri Munden has worked with artists such as: M.I.A, Nicki Minaj, Jessie J, 2NE1, Klaxons.
