Dear Shaded Viewers and Diane,

Yesterday morning at the Disseny Hub in Barcelona, Yiorgos Eleftheriades spring collection walked in on the diluted notes of a sizzling soundpiece with a minimal, suspenseful echo. The outfits toy with the idea of paper doilies and dexterous grace, with light composite patterns in papery grays, creamy silvers and sandy hues, with a few slivers of deep sky blue. At times they reminded of deconstructed workwear, with loose, layered widths and outlined seams, at times instead of a pressed, clean and clear tailored appeal. Asymmetries meet in effortless play, geometries cross in pleats or expert cut-outs. On the runway the collection looked structured yet weightless, almost bidimensional but soft and sensible, practical and flattering and wonderfully fitting.
