Dear Shaded
Viewers and Diane,

Galaxies
and spiritual currents were in Kay Kwok's mind when he imagined his "The
Hidden Force" collection for spring 2014, paneled and flowing, an hemless liquidity
in a cosmic latte hue. "Futuristic", tells the press release, yet
Kwok seems to elude the constructive density so often associated with the term,
his is a seamless, sleeveless melody in magnolia and honeydew, asymmetric and
peaceful, with mineral undertones and pearlescent, butter soft leather bags
where the universe mirrors with each ray of light. Hand crafted plastic breast plates
recall the smooth, elegant protectiveness of a spaceship shell, and printed
pieces feature soft blending orbits, violet or turquoise.
