Orlan, French Artist and ASVOFF 5 jury member and our PRESIDENT for ASVOFF's 5th Anniversary
Dear Shaded Viewers,
You know how sometimes things just happen for a reason? I was having a Virgin Mary with Julia Muggenburg at the lovely Lancaster Hotel. We spent a little time chatting about her gallery and shop and of course she showed me her jewels. This made us a little late getting over to the opening at The Museum of Everything Exhibition #1.1 By the time we arrived, Orlan was just leaving. I've been meaning to call her to see if she would accept to be our President. I was planning on asking her tomorrow, as divine luck would have it we were both there and I popped the question and she said YES. I love the idea that Rossy de Palma is ASVOFF's Godmother and now Orlan our President. I'll go to sleep tonight with a big smile.
