The latest project by Dadara in collaboration with Thera Hillenaar , the project:
"As an artist I started my own bank – the Exchanghibition Bank, which issues banknotes of Zero, Million, Infinite etc.
And now there's a new Art as Money project – the Transformoney Tree, a tree which has Banknotes from my Exchanghibition Bank project hanging from its branches, while the whole trunk in an interactive process got covered with many hundreds of real banknotes by participants. Once glued onto the tree they lost their financial value, but got other values in return in our society which only seems to look at value in a financial way. And since we dealt with real physical banknotes, and not our virtual form of currency, people could write and draw on the money…
