Dear Shaded Viewers,
Maria Oberfrank, one of the organizers of Vienna Fashion Week, showed her spring collection on the catwalk last week. Maria worked for Helmut Lang while completing her studies at the Vienna College of Applied Arts. Her designs effortlessly merge European austerity with an intense exchange with Brazilian culture and fashion (Maria travel to Brazil quite often, and last year she brought some Brazilian designers to MQVFW). I really liked the way her clothes drape on the body, and the headgear was the perfect accent.
