Dear Diane and dear Shaded Viewers,
This year, the Embassy of the Netherlands in Belgium initiated the cross-border project High Fashion Low Countries, aiming to create synergie between Dutch and Belgian fashion initiatives on innovation, sustainability and craftmanship.
Parralel with this showcase (more on that later), High Fashion Low Countries is making an open call to promising students registered in fashion schools in Belgium or the Netherlands. Students are invited to submit one avant-garde exhibition piece, and the chance to be selected for the upcoming HFLC platform and general exhibition in the new Brussels Center for Fashion and Design (MAD Brussels) in October 2012.
