Dear Shaded Viewers and Diane,

Gowns. With cascades of opaline ruffles, and georgette linings, and vertiginous, suggestive slits. The pellucid, graceful caress of some smooth and pearly silk, endless chiffon trains and deep open backs, Houghton fall collection swirls in timeless elegance and pale delight, with a fresh and easy, contemporary twist. Katharine Polk's robes are milky, candid and liquid and sweet, lighthearted and soft, and her white on white silhouettes feature cashmere tees and oversized satin shirts, structured coats and wide leg pants, each piece named after a special, unique feminine personality, from Katharine Hepburn to Twiggy, Kate, Mae, and Patti Smith.
