I am not sure if La Servante  by Kim Ki-Young and The Servant by Joseph Losey   had anything to do with each other. La Servante came out in 1960 and The Servant in 1963, the thread of the story is similar in as much as a servant comes and turns the household upside down.  Both brillant, I highly recommend that you watch this film.
