It was an extremely emotional experience to attend my first live perfomance of Marina Abramovic , also it was a great experience to hear Marina and to see her. She is magnetic, placid,and powerful
In her own words "We are living in a difficult period, where time is worth more and more, becouse we have less and less of it .In my opinion long duration perfomance has the power to create mental and physical trasformation for the perfomer as well for the viewer. For this reason I would like to give the public the possibility to experience and to reflect upon emptiness, time, space, luminosity and void."

The Abramovic Method, born from reflections that Marina has done during herl last perfomances: The House with the Ocean View, Seven Easy Pieces and The Artist is Present; are experiences that have deeply influenced her way of perceiving her work in relation to the public . She said "Without the public, the perfomance has no sense, I should say that perfomer and public are not only complementary but almost inseparable." In THE ABRAMOVIC METHOD the public led by the artist lives and experiences the interactive installations, standing, sitting or lying, in close contact with precious mineral like quartz, amethyst, tourmaline. A pathe where the people are isolated by headphones, in total silence, can expand their senses , and can observe, listen, learn to listen and listen themselves. I will try the perfomance soon , and I will let you now about my personal experience.
