Dear Shaded Viewers and Diane,
Yang Du's autumn/winter show came like a soothing, balmy breath of fresh air, followed by a cheep, a moo and a roar. A rag-jungle of matte hues and knitted cashmere, innocence and careless joy, flushed out from mollycoddled childhood memories to make its way into the hungry wildlife of the fashion world, looks coming out in pairs in a sort of Noah's Ark's wise wariness. And while the modern fashion pack may be known to be less than welcoming towards new specimens, no guest there could retain his smile, especially during the engaging, unexpected interludes choreographed by artist Ryan Styles.
