Dear Diane, dear shaded viewers, I previewed the collection/performance of Nicholas Julittaat Teatro I. His work fascinated me then and now that I see his F/W collection I can see how his approach to fashion is much like a performance.THe materials : structured, rigid and angular. Knitwear is created with a metallic steel weave that is then burnt,tested and treated its shape changes on the body as do his prints.He covers his fur with metallic leather and organza giving it a futuristic feel.
Nicholas has burnt the shirt during the presentation, reminds me of the perfomance of italian artist Burri

The absorpion of high technology and fashion design is the main spirit of the collection, no boundaries Nicholas has managed to harmonize and expand on his attitude to art and artisanal craft. He not only surpasses time but he never falls behind it.
