Dear Shaded Viewers,

080 Barcelona may focus on Catalan designers and their achievements, it nevertheless has a tradition of inviting international guests to present their work. We were treated to a preview of London-based Omar Kashoura's new menswear collection, which I really liked. He knows how to balance elegance with ease. His pieces are not fussy and I'm keen on his gentle silhouette, retaining a strong sense of masculinity.

A belted grey coat with soft shoulders clearly stood out.

In the afternoon, Schipper/Arques presented their stunning collection, which is more about crazy narratives than passing trends. Their show combined performance and fashion to great effect. I love their aesthetics and never tire of their imagination.

I couldn't take my eyes off a cropped, black evening jacket, which looked like it had been made out of fancy bubble wrap. Amazing.
