Dear Diane and dear Shaded Viewers,
Yesterday I was in London for the opening of 'Trust Me', an exhibition by graphic designer Paul Boudens commissioned by Jules Wright from The Wapping Project to celebrate the London Design Festival.
In a big industrial exhibition space guests could enter a big black box, lit from underneath with white light and a red curtain next to it. Inside the black box the walls are covered with print-outs showing an impressive overview of Paul Boudens' work with posters, covers and prints of his designs for Yohji Yamamoto, A Magazine, Olivier Theyskens, Dries Van Noten, Wim Neels, Jurgi Persoons, Inge Grognard & Ronald Stoops, the MoMu – Fashion Museum Antwerp, the Antwerp Fashion Department, De Munt/ La Monnaie in Brussels,…
Boudens is also working on his second monographs, due out in Spring 2010.
