years ago a man started to scratch fabrics, turn garments inside out, playing
with proportions, looking for that sartorial soul a piece of clothing always
has (or should have). The news that he was adding at the time, was that he wanted to show that, turning it into
the fashion itself: no more prettiness on a catwalk, but anti-fashion. Not
top-model: anti-model instead. Because Martin Margiela was an anti-designer.
