Dear Shaded Viewers,

My beautiful journey into creative darkness started this afternoon as I entered my cosy hotel room, aptly named Hotel Les Nuits. The abundance of dark decorative elements put me in the appropriate mood.

I was granted a special viewing before the vernissage and was impressed with the way designer looks mixed so easily with period pieces. Towards the end of the show, it actually became difficult distinguishing the two. I gave Leonor a little tour and she was struck by a men's felt hat from the 17th century.

I am not going to reveal too much about the show as I'll write a full review later on today, but my favourite pieces had to be two silhouettes from Gareth Pugh's first Paris show.

Bonne nuit.
