J Sabatino's AW10 collection is inspired by the films Permanent Vacation by Jim Jarmusch and Blank Generation by Ulli Lommel, the clothing seeks to capture the mood of downtown New York City in the late-1970s/early-1980s when it was filled with artists living in illegal lofts. The collection is a tribute to the characters who populated this scene and dressed in a magical mix of thrift store finds. The use of film for the presentation was really successful. X
