Today Miguel Villalobos sent me this photo of a painting by Francis Bacon from the current show at the met. He said that he's already been back twice. I'm working on a project with my friend Vincent Gagliostro at the moment and I was searching for a photo that I took in Florence of the Undercover dolls, Graces, for a slide show that we are preparing for Musee Galliera. The painting by Francis Bacon and the image of one of Jun's doll's share a similar other worldly atmosphere. I love them together. I have no idea if Jun even thought at all about Francis Bacon when he created his dolls but they definitely share a similar universe.
