NORDIC FASHION BIENNALE IN REYKJAVIK BY SHOJI FUJII : NORDIC HOUSE

Dear Shaded Viewers

I am in Reykjavik for the first edition of Nordic Fashion Biennale that consists variety of event, fashion shows, exhibitions, lectures and concerts.
The event is an initiative of the Nordic house in corporation with the culture ministries of the Faroe Islands, Greenland and Iceland.

I have been to Iceland 4, 5 years ago when there wasn't yet as much interesting shops or big event like this time.
It's very exciting to see what's happening here now.

I will start going to some event at Nordic house tomorrow and also try to see some off schedule events.

NORDIC HOUSE was designed by an finnish architect/interior/product designer ALVAR AALTO in 1960's and opened in 1968.
Whole furniture and interior products are his design.

I still haven't been to all the rooms yet.
I will take pictures later to show you later.

I had lunch at a fisherman's restaurant by harbor.

Beautiful blue sky and icy mountains.

More on Nodic Fashion biennale tomorrow.
