Dear Shaded Viewers,
Barbie turned 50 and she has been partying all around the planet. At Colette there was a live Barbie and a live Ken. Barbie live was dressed head to toe in Jeremy Scott, Ken wore Karl Lagerfeld. There is an exhibition of Ken and Barbie by Karl. Champagne was flowing and pink pastries and cotton candy were on offer. The DJ was the infamous Lady Bunny. I got a warm welcome and a delightful performance when I came in. I’m still feeling very flat hair next to Lady Bunny but either my hair gets higher or I just have to get over that that flat hair feeling.
After the Colette party a mini Barbie chauffeured car wisked us off to Regines.I was with Junghee from Daily Projects in Seoul and London’s David David.It was a very think pink moment.
London’s David David, Seoul’s Daily Project owner, Junghee and I were delighted to jump into Barbie’s car.
