Dear Shaded Viewers,

Jmp_hairywood_18

The world of Eley Kishimoto celebrates the marriage between architecture and fashion with Hairywood. The Hairywood tower is a collaboration between Eley Kishimoto and 6a Architects. Hairywood is a six metre structure embellished by a carved periscope and features an elevated cabin to give visitors a look at the Covent Garden Piazza. The tower was created in 2005 and displayed in Old Street. It has been positioned in WC2 as part of Somerset House’s Skin + Bones exhibition which explores the relationship between fashion and architecture.
