Last week when I was in Florence I had a pretty good idea that this could happen but not until this morning could I be sure.Gareth Pugh will receive a unique endowment of 150,000 euros (the largest international fashion prize) that will enable him to develop his label and to organize for the first time a fashion show in Paris. The official prize giving will take place 3 October 2008 during Paris Fashion Week, with ANDAM, their partners, and Gareth Pugh and his entourage.
This signals a huge loss for London Fashion Week. Pugh says:
