Show 07 La Cambre Mode

Dear Shaded Viewers,

To the theme of Six Feet Under the Show 07 La Cambre had models walking out of standing caskets in a series of refreshing mise en scenes. Their impressive front row jury members included fashion historian Florence Muller, Melim Andersson from Chloe and Raf Simons from Raf Simons and Jil Sander.

For the first four years the signage is a little hard to follow and the fact that I was never given the box with the images from the collections made it even more of a mystery. All that to say some of the collections below have no names. You can always get more information from Tony at La Cambre. Big volumes, happy colors, upbeat prints, a black and white Bauhaus men’s wear collection, fun shoes, a whiff of Vivienne Westwood in the air, draping a la Madame Grey, some Sandra Backlund inspired knits, Pucci prints, once upon a time Junya pleats and layering, surealistic silver and knitted cakes. Metal embellishments made Matthieu Blazy’s collection look like a modern day version of Paco Rabanne. Matthieu should find work easily in a luxury brand, why not Paco Rabanne?
