Dear Shaded Viewers,
You remember the work of Shuck? I showed you the windows at Palais Royal with his work, they are still up by the way. All of the artists in the exhibit were asked to interpret their idea of the heroic woman. A few days ago I showed you the preparation for www.passport-number.net’s exhibition at the Musee de l’Homme, well today was the opening and I went early for the press viewing.
Now for Passport-number’s contribution to Femmes Heroiques:
The head is stratified glass by Swedish artist Thomasine Giesecke (www.thomasinegiesecke.com). The ant dress is by French artist Marc Gassier (www.marcgassier.fr). The skin is by French artist Olivier Goulet (http://goulet.free.fr/). The shoes are by French artist Isabelle Tournoud and the time sculpture (not in the picture) is by French artist Didier Legros (www.fascine.fr) … the whole curated by www.passport-number.net
Elaine and I went to lunch afterwards and on our way to other appointments we ran into Vincent who we had just seen at the press viewing.
DP with Passport Number and Elaine and Vincent on the metro.
Later,
Diane
At the cocktail:
