Dear Diane, Dear Shaded Viewers,

4th and last day of the malaysian fashion week.This was the day of the awards
given to the up and coming designers. We met with the 8 designers
yesterday, then we saw their collections on the runway. I have to say that
the quality and creativity was much stronger than the previous shows. 4
awards were given : Best evening to Chris Diaz from Philippines with a
lingerie “Forbidden Affairs” collection,

given to Edmund Seong who dared to go with an inspiration of the first and
second testament in a muslim country. That shows as well how much malaysia
is open to other religions. Finnaly the award of the most promising designer
was given to Edmud Seong as well, his collection was the only one to offer a
deep research on cuts and concept. . He is awarded 30.000 malaysian ringgit
(around 10.000 US Dollars).

Mr.Jimmy Choo was also given a lifetime achievement award in presence of His
Higness the Princess of Malaysia. Beeing the first maylasian to reach the
international level.
